Nadella joined Microsoft 22 years ago. He was the Executive Vice President of Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise group. The announcement of him as CEO was not a big surprise. The board including the founder Bill Gates believe that he is the most right man for the job and will lead the company very well. 

Satya Nadella says "aspire to change the world. But very few have all the elements required: talent, resources and perseverance. Microsoft has proven that it has all three in abundance."
