Next Time You See A Cockroach, It May Be A Cyborg
Osaka University and the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) co-developed a fuel cell that can be used to crate a wireless sensor network between different self powered cyborg insects.
Cyborg Cockroaches are powered by a fuel tank that is attached to their body. These fuel tanks take the insects own body fluid(trehalose) which is broken down by enzymes to produce Glucose. That glucose provides energy to the cockroach to operate efficiently. This process is not fuel friendly as insect needs to be fed regularly but it will help to power other objects attached to the insects body.
So, next time you talk about any secret, make sure there is no insect around.
