Samsung Galaxy Star pro is a budget android smartphone from Samsung with some decent specs considering the price tag, the device is coming with. It has got a 4 inch Display, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage and 2MP camera. It comes out of the box with Android 4.1.2 jellybean.

How to root Samsung Galaxy Star Pro GT-S7262

NOTE: I am just sharing this method. Original method was posted by a member of XDA-developers and all the files are their property.

Files Required:

1. Odin
2. Recovery File(01) OR Recovery(02)
3. Superuser file

Unzip all files first.

Method:

1. Install kies Software from Samsung.
2. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled on your device.
3. Reboot in dwnload mode( press volume down+home+power button)
4. Open Odin.
5. Select recovery.md5 as PDA.
6. Uncheck Auto Reboot.
7. Press start.
8. "PASS" will appear on the top windows when process is finished.

9. Boot into recovery (press volume up+home+power button)
10. Now flash superuser.zip using CWM Recovery and you are good to go.

AOKP KitKat Nightlies Now Available For Samsung, Galaxy And Nexus Devices

Holiday Season is on and AOKP thought to make this holiday good for you. They released Android 4.4.2 Nightly builds for some devices. This is only the initial release so expect some bugs like bootloops.

Lead Pencil: A Stylus For Nokia Lumia 520

Do you want a stylus for Nokia Lumia 520 but don't have the budget to buy one, then don't get sad because you already have a stylus for Nokia Lumia 520.

Today I was playing around with Lumia 520 and just found out that the touch screen of it works with a pencil. Yes, you can use its touch screen with a pencil. I don't know if it works with other devices but it does work with Lumia 520. I tried this trick with Nexus 5 but it didn't work for me. May be some other type of pencil will work.

Note: Use back of a lead graphite pencil.

Anyhow, now you have your own stylus for 520.

CyanogenMod 11 M1 Arrives For All AOSP Supported Nexus Devices

CyanogenMod 10.2 project has just been completed recently with the release of a stable version of 10.2

ROM. CyanogenMod team decided to to do things fast and the out come of that fast effort is CyanogenMod 11 M1.

CyanogenMod 11 M1 is the pre-release of the upcoming Android 4.4 based ROMs offering functionality of Kitkat with cyanogenmod touch. CM 11.0 M1 currently runs on all actively AOSP-supported Nexus devices – all variants of the Nexus 7, the Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and Nexus 10.

This proves that the CM 11 stable version will be coming soon on all the CM supported devices so stay tuned for that update.
